What About Those Who Haven’t Heard About Christ? short answer
The Bible says that God will hold people accountable for what they know, not for what they don't know. The Apostle Paul says in the Bible, "For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities--his eternal power and divine nature--have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse." (Romans 1:20)
Do you think that it would be reasonable for a loving God to turn away from someone who is sincerely seeking to reach out to Him? The Bible demonstrates that God is not like that. Rather, God has made special arrangements to deliver the message of salvation and relationship to all who will listen.
In both the Old and New Testaments, God reached out to people who would listen, such as Cornelius, an Ethiopian Eunuch, or the entire city of Nineveh.
The Bible describes God as a loving God who desires for all people to come into His family. However, it also describes Him as a just God who must punish rebellion and sin. The choice is ours and the God of the Bible will not override our free choice. All people must decide, for themselves, whether they are open to revelation from God or think they don't need Him in their lives. We all make choices based on the knowledge we possess about God, whether we have a lot of revelation or very little.
