The following are the titles and a brief description of the seminars, workshops and teaching series that Quest Ministries provides:
Heart for the Harvest Seminar
A six hour seminar designed to increase our heart for the lost. Attention is given to overcoming the barriers to the gospel and identifying principles and approaches that free us to enjoy the process.
Getting Ready for College Series
A 10 week series designed to prepare Christian High School seniors for college and university life. Emphasis is given to knowing why you believe in Jesus Christ and learning to defend your faith through apologetics.
The Way of the Master I Series
This course is a 12 week series focusing on personal evangelism. The emphasis is learning from the Master…with special attention given to sharing the law of God in order to make the grace of God better understood and appreciated.
The Way of the Master II Series
This 12 week series focusing on refining the Way of the Master I approach. We focus on developing the skill of using questions to avoid objections and learning to give clear and convincing short answers to questions that arise.
I’m Glad You Asked Series
This 12 week series provides systematic answers (flow charts) to help answer the 10 most often asked questions that arise in our culture today. Role-playing is used often to build familiarity and confidence.
Connexions Series
A 10 week series focusing on learning how to “connect” and befriend the lost friends and family in our spheres of influence. Attention is given to learning how to have socially acceptable conversations and to make smooth transitions into spiritual conversations.
Heaven…It’s Not What You Think!
A 15 week series using Randy Alcorn’s book entitled “Heaven”. Our goal in this course is to increase our “Biblical Hope” in heaven and therefore increase our heart for the lost. It works wonderfully!
The Parables of Jesus Series
A 10 week series looking at the seven parables of Jesus found in Matthew 13. Jesus goal was to prepare His disciples for the church age and to more effectively spread the seed.
As the opportunities arise we conduct these seminars and series. Upon request we will schedule and organize new groups.
