I have known Dave for about 8 years. He came to our house to visit after our first visit to Faith Community Church. He lovingly asked my wife and I questions about our walk with God and how we came to know Jesus. This first encounter illustrated to us his heart and the focus of Quest Ministries. He loved us enough to share the truth with us right away.
He has challenged me to think outside the box by finding the truth about God and Christianity straight from the Word of God.
A few years ago Dave and I started to meet together each Friday morning for breakfast. Our times together have changed the way I operate in my Christian life. He has challenged me to think outside the box by finding the truth about God and Christianity straight from the Word of God. This has led me to feel the responsibility to begin meeting with other guys and to make disciples myself. I have also seen my boldness increase dramatically. A few months ago I decided that I could no longer wait to share the gospel with my wife’s parents. I told them that I had something important that I needed to talk to them about and then just went to the point and shared the gospel with them. In the past I would have never done that because of my desire to be sensitive and to wait on the Lord. In reality I was making excuses and God has convicted me of that and brought real change to my life.
I’ve also had the privilege of watching Dave change too. He has become increasingly bold and more effective as he has implemented the Way of the Master approach to sharing the gospel. The Biblical emphasis of using the Law of God to convict the unsaved has not only changed his life but also mine in the process.
Quest Ministries is all about investing in people through discipleship, evangelism and caring enough to ask the tough questions.
In a nutshell, Quest Ministries is all about investing in people through discipleship, evangelism and caring enough to ask the tough questions. I’m glad that God has brought Dave and the ministry into my life.
